The two different types of reflective are:

Engineering grade or Class 2 reflective is a low visibility sheeting that is used in car park or rural road situations.

High intensity or Class 1 is identified by the honeycomb pattern through the sheeting. This product is used for high visibility such as traffic work zones and highway signage.
